it is so true that grieving is the price we pay for loving. we grieve deeply because we love deeply. if you were to experience a life without grief or pain, you would in turn experience a loveless life. if you love you must grieve. you can not have one without the other. but i would rather grieve and love, than not experience love and end up grieving anyway. and rejection and pain are a part of life but i have felt all those feelings before, and if i’ve done it before i can sure as hell do it again.
